With his dark and powerful tenor voice, Badri Maisuradze boast a vast repertory that includes about 40 roles in Russian, Italian, French, German and Georgian works of both classical and contemporary music. He collaborated with such conductors as Maurizio Arena, Vladimir Fedoseev, Valery Gergiev, Antonio Guadagno, Daniel Oren, Seiji Ozawa, Carlo Rizzi, Mstislav Rostropovich, Alexander Vedernikov and Marcello Viotti, performing at Europe’s major opera houses.

Highlights of his acclaimed career are: Tchaikovsky’s Mazepa, conducted by Rostropovich at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan; Tosca at the Wiener Staatsoper; Il Trovatore, Aida and Nabucco at the Deutsche Oper Berlin; Lady Macbeth of Mtzensk District at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples; Madama Butterfly at the Teatro Comunale in Florence; Aida, Ernani and Lady Macbeth of Mtzensk District at the Teatro Real in Madrid; Un Ballo in Maschera at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona; Verdi’s Otello, Il Trovatore and Don Carlos at the Royal Opera in Stockholm; Manon Lescaut, Tosca, Giovanna d’Arco and Madama Butterfly at the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto; Aida and Samson et Dalila in Australia; Tosca and Don Carlo at the Semperoper Dresden; Aida at the Théâtre de la Monnaie in Bruxelles; Otello and Tosca in Tallinn; La Forza del Destino in Vilnius; Turandot and Il Tabarro at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo; Tosca and Un ballo in Maschera in Moscow; Leoncavallo’s I Medici (Giuliano de’ Medici) at the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago (Italy); La Fanciulla del West (Dick Johnson) in Messina and Lucca; Aida with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and Zubin Mehta in Tel Aviv, Montpellier and Palermo; and I Pagliacci (Canio) at the Teatro Municipal Santiago de Chile.

Mr Maisuradze lately performed: Otello at the Opéra National de Lorraine, at the Split Summer Festival in Croatia, at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège and at the Cape Town Opera; Aida at the Greek National Opera in Athens; Il Tabarro and Cavalleria Rusticana in Messina; Samson et Dalila (Samson) at the Opéra de Montpellier. Amongst his future plans it is worth mentioning I Pagliacci at the Théâtre du Capitole in Toulouse.
